Tru Phonic Live Music at Indian Pass Raw Bar
Some bands play music. Tru Phonic makes you feel it.
Built around the original songwriting and guitar work of Jake Salter, this Space Coast collective pulls from just about every corner of American music — jam, funk, blues, rock, soul, jazz, hip-hop — and blends it into something that's entirely their own. The result is a live show that's hard to categorize and even harder to stand still through.
Salter is a self-taught guitarist who spent years immersing himself in the craft — recording, music theory, keyboards, vocals, technique across genres — and that depth shows. Surrounding him is a band of Central Florida veterans who've paid their dues across some of the region's best stages. Together, Jake Salter, Daniel Garcia, Reese Montgomery, Christian Sciolla, and a rotating cast of drummers bring the kind of tightness you only get from musicians who genuinely love what they're doing.
What sets Tru Phonic apart live is the combination of high-level musicianship, strong vocal harmonies, and a horn section that locks in with the groove instead of sitting on top of it. No gimmicks, no trend-chasing — just honest music played with skill and real enthusiasm.
Since forming in 2017, the band has built a loyal following across the Southeast, earning slots at Suwannee Hulaween, Farm to Grass, Everglades Roots Fest, and a handful of other festivals that don't book just anyone. Their original catalog has racked up over 230,000 streams, and their live videos have drawn more than 77,000 views — numbers that reflect an audience that keeps coming back.
If you catch them on the Forgotten Coast, you're in for a good night.
